I recounted a bit of Japan with a disposable camera, aiming to capture the strong contrasts of this culture that has fascinated me since I was little. Japanese cities are super technological, full of colorful neon lights, giant screens, and tangled strings of light. All of this is always juxtaposed with meticulously cared-for natural elements, such as public gardens or ponds with curious and friendly koi. I wasn't interested in taking pictures with a professional camera; my main interest was to freeze "the idea" of various moments to convey my vision of Japan.
