I am currently working on a project about the skateboarders at Venice beach skate park. The photos are mainly portraitures with the aim to capture the people and community behind their boards and acrobatic feats. The people are an eclectic group of misfits and outsiders who have come together crossing culture, race, sex and varied socio-economic situations to create a lively and supportive community that celebrates each other.
