The source of this body of work is not the observation and capture of the external world, but an inward listening and luminous awareness.
This series was created between 2024 and 2026 inspired by my daily practice of mindful recitation of Amitabha Buddha’s name. When the mind settles and becomes focused on the name, an inner light naturally appears. I borrow colors from everyday objects and blur them completely until the objects disappear, leaving only light. These images move from clarity and purity toward stillness and steadfastness — they are the visual echo of my inner state, and a moment of deep connection with Amitabha Buddha.
When the camera turns from capturing the outer world to developing the inner landscape, the image ceases to be a record of reality. It becomes the sublime light and colour of the mind, revealed through the myriad things.
