Pale Meridian

Pale Meridian is a photographic project by Perry Hall that turns its attention to West Texas, where forgotten oil towns and abandoned communities remain etched into the land. The work traces a landscape marked by weathered structures, sun-baked ground, and the quiet endurance of places shaped by extraction, erosion, and time. Rather than framing the region through spectacle, the series lingers in its subtleties: the textures of cracked earth, the fading presence of human habitation, and the tension between decay and persistence.
