Saudade

Netherlands, 18 years ago a 6-year-old girl drowns at the beach. In Saudade I demonstrate the processing of the futile resuscitation attempt, which I did as a young lifeguard on the Zeeland Beach and the years of impact that had on me. With carefully created photo portraits I am searching for a way to meet the deceased girl again, that now would have been a 24-year-old woman.
