Enter As Strays evaluates disconnectedness and the perceived intangible struggles of my/self. These real, or even imagined struggles happen within the ordinary as I curiously wander about spaces both foreign and familiar to my/self. I consciously make decisions that lead myself into error, or morally questionable situations. While I put my/self into these circumstances, I relish the experience, although it could be seen as morally wrong to “whom”. However, I believe this exploration to evaluate my/self concludes with the idea that I should eventually mend, or find the real /self of my identity. The photographs represent a projection of my search for the real and fake /selves that exist within my own identity/ies.
-----------------------------------
I enter spaces as a stray.
I lie to my/self;
I believe it.
I lie to strangers,
I seek the liar,
I kill the liar.
I remain a stray,
I remain astray,
I leave a stray.
I leave astray.
I.
