Life Story

Photographing the street, I discovered that I very much like shop windows, and mannequins in particular. I see them as real people with feelings, emotions, emptiness, shallowness. I see in them the people of today. People who love, people that are sad or lost, trapped or perhaps free? I like to create stories with them. This story is that of a typical human life in the present day society. I would love to exhibit a curated "Mannequin Project" someday. I imagine my photos printed on Photo Rag paper, frame white, passepartout white 10 cm, image size A3. "We did not ask for this room or this music; we were invited in.
