Addictions

This entitled series "Addictions" includes more than about twenty self-portraits, where the object merges with the human face. The addiction brings generally the notion of rite, so creating an orderly rhythm of things. However, more and more present in our everyday life, she can also bring the disorder and generate a disfonctionnement. Masked or hardly revealed face, the portrait identificatoire fades in spite of the use of the frontality and the moved closer centring breast. These uncomfortable, even painful postures are imperative upon me. A transfer is underway … Tear in the cleanliness, in the shopping or still fashionably : my purpose "here" is to question the sense of the object and the portrait itself, without forgetting the notion of dependence inherent to our consumer society.
