Life in the Entry Lane

In the residential areas around Hongqiao airport in Shanghai, China, people are living with airplanes starting and landing above their heads. People go about their daily lives while airplanes take off and land up to every three minutes. At night the planes dissolve into light trails that intersect with power cables, lights in the buildings show traces of residents sharing their days and nights with the planes.
