Zhuhai China Trades

These images are part of an ongoing series of South Chinese locals at work in the neighborhoods that I frequent and live in around the city of Zhuhai in Guangdong Province. The portraits are posed and collaborative scenes in the spaces where my subjects work. This series is not a true ethnography but both a cultural examination and idealization of modern China from the perspective of an outsider/foreigner.
