Ice Cream Headaches gathers portraits of people who live with a passion for the ocean. The people portrayed here have devoted their lives to surfing, on the east coast (the region covered goes from Montauk, NY to Ocean City, NJ) and beyond, through harsh winters and flat summers. For the last 4 years, I've photographed writers, artists, surfers, underground profiles and legends who've all contributed to the incredibly rich culture on the east coast.
