After more than 100 years, the family owned candy factory the Faam in Breda, the Netherlands, officially closed its doors in January 2014. In 2016-2017 I portrayed former employees in the now empty factory halls, experience a flashback of nostalgic memories. They spent a large part of their working life in this family business. Effortlessly thrown back in time they are one with their thoughts. They see and hear what was here years ago. In the authentic atmosphere, the distance between present and the past is minimized. They experience the past, which continuously affects the present.
