Caravaggio Remembered!

Caravaggio Remembered! is a photography project inspired by Michelangelo Merisi de Caravaggio. He lived a turbulent life that changed the art world forever. I am inspired by his use of strong contrast lighting known as chiaroscuro, literally light and dark, realistic characters, and biblical themes. We have placed the scenes in modern times and dress, just as Caravaggio did in his time. Several of the images are directly inspired by Caravaggio works while the others are creations of my imagination executed in his style.
