This photograph is in Nanny and Gramps’ wedding album, and was intended to portray them on their wedding night, headed from her home in the Bronx to the airport for their honeymoon in Bermuda. However, it is in fact an enactment of a scene that never happened. They stayed in a hotel the evening of her wedding before heading to the airport.
