Butcher's Corner

Butcher's Corner is a small family orchard owned by the Butcher family in Sunnyvale, California. It is approximately 5 acres is size and has been in the Butcher family since 1881. It has been sold and will be developed into over 130 residential units. This property is one of the last family orchards in Sunnyvale. I currently live close by this property and drive by it every day. I received notice that it was going to be demolished so I wanted to photograph the property before it goes away. There are oak trees, fruit trees, and 2 homes on the property. Three oak trees will be saved and the main home may be moved to the Historical Museum in Sunnyvale.
