The series of photographs submitted is titled Hidden Evidence of the five year photographic journey learning above people with developmental disabilities. The project included a breadth of knowledge from many resources learning of the historical events that occurred including the mistreatment and overcrowding of psychiatric hospitals. Since then, many institutions closed, and today this community thrives in smaller setting in homes, learning skills, where staff members at newer agencies are bridging the gap to help advocate for this population with a future filled with hope.
