Aesthesis

Aesthesis ("aesthetics"), in brief summary, is the branch of philosophy that studies the foundations of beauty and its consequences in our perceptions. This essay, composed of macrophotographs that find beauty in dead or diseased leaves, aims to put the Aesthesis itself in analysis. Are the aesthetic something purely superficial?
