Redefine. Absorption is a useful feature

Sometimes you need to start a new phase. Close an old one. In that case you must redefine your position. This project is about how to let go and hold on to things at the same time, by re-arranging them and give them shape and colour in your own way, In this work I make use of the absorption feature of tampons. With this I colour and create new shapes. I use and re-arrange the original function of tampons into a version of my own, from the perspective of the different stage of life I'm in. A stage in which things like fertility and associated assumptions, for example about womanhood and relevance, make way for personal choices, while available tools and features also are being redefined.
