Pripyat

Photographic project in the exclusion zone of Chernobyl and Pripyat. this photographic project was done in 2017 in Ukraine. The work’s object is to show, through photographs, the current status of places where memory is still alive, to be able to give life again to the structure by the use of immages, after his deterioration progress. The photographs have been taken in different types of buildings such as: sanitary buildings, school, industrial, house, etc. In the same time, the photographic project wants to arouse curiosity and surprise people, showing unexpected and sometimes surreal ambiences, which are still able to give emotions. Photographs want to spread beauty, diversity, history, magic and they rapresent a medium of memory conservation. The photos show the important value of forgotten places which still live their glories in a suspended dimension, and timeless .
