The Solitude and Beauty of Scotland

Scotland has recently been voted the most beautiful country on the planet. I have the fortune to have lived all of my life in Scotland, staying in and around it's capital city Edinburgh. I've always felt really fortunate, growing up with a living room window that overlooked Edinburgh Castle. I've spent many years developing the skill to enable me to capture what I see. As the years go on I'm getting better at doing this. Each year I plan where I'm going to go and what I'm going to shoot. Time after time, I go back to the same places with a year or more's experience hoping that I can capture that one or two percent more. So far it's worked a treat. Here are some of the shots I've taken to try and convey the amazing range and atmosphere that I experience.
