This selection of work has been created by interrupted movement of the camera. During the shots I step the movement, whether it is hand held or mounted on a tripod. This technique prints the subject at every step creating these complex textures. Using lens zoom with rotational movement creates spirals as the objects move away from the centre.
This exploration of movement and how it intensifies the texture of these natural subjects fascinated me. The random arrangement of fallen leaves and trees in a forest take on an geometric order and structure defined by the preciseness of the movement.
