Fernweh & Heimweh (2012-2013)

The Colllage series ‘Fernweh & Heimweh’ of Eva Gjaltema was created with the intention to bring two different worlds and timezones together. By making collages of historical places she photographed in Berlin and outcuts of her dutch grandparents family pictures, she wanted to bridge the complex history of the two countries and create a dialoge between them
