Until death do us apart They have been living together for ages and then, all of a sudden, one of them passes away. This is the end of a committed life. After it there are some people who follow their loved ones into the other world very soon. There are also the ones who choose another way and continue their life on their own. This photo series is about the latter. It is the people whotreasure theirdeparted lovers memories, the stories of 30, 40, 50 years of their committed life are enshrined in their souls and in their hearts. They have only the different objects which remind them of the life they had with their partners. Our objects survive us, they can salve and moderate the pain or they can bring with them sorrow for the people who stay and have to continue their lives without their other halves.
