4stones: Thirteen New Shapes

"In this series exhibited in June 2015 at Soho Photo Gallery in New York City, I went back to the simplest expression of the 4stones. For this, I used a light box to focus on the patterns formed by my guests. At first sight, viewers see shapes, but on moving closer, they discover textures, a balance between light and dark, and subtle shades of color. Perhaps, too, a sense of peace in a harsh world."
