How will we interact with life forms in the near future? And in the distant future, how will the planet adapt to minimize or solve the problems we are generating? Our lifestyle consumes much more than it should, and the natural structures of the environment no longer support this. In a visual metaphor, I translated to an analytic view our intense intrusion into natural processes. Thus came the conceptual essay "Amanita novatio," which uses symbologies and visual similarities to illustrate the sad influence of our behaviour. Fungi are some of the most basic and sensitive forms of life on this planet, being some of the first components to suffer with changes in the environment. Then, within a creative subjectivity, I imagined our crude, metrical, and industrial way of transforming the world, merged into these simple life forms. The end result is a visual critique of the harmful effects of our behavior.
