Pictures I made of my family in the 1970s, were boxed away until the births of my youngest niece and nephews in the early 1990s. Upon their arrival, I began in earnest to look at them with great curiosity wondering about the teenagers and young adults that they would become. Most of the photographs were taken at my parent's (the grandparents) house in rural Kentucky. It was my intention to document their lives as evidence of who they were and where they came from. Images that they could examine ten, twenty and more years into their future.
