Above the clouds

I have recently published a book of landscapes from the Arlberg region of Austria. I was originally commissioned by an interior designer to furnish the walls of the Aurelio hotel in Lech, and fell in love with the place. I have been revisiting the area for 5 years. I have tried to capture the sense of freedom and calm that I feel when I am in the mountains and at the same time to convey a sense of the power and the beauty of the environment. I am also interested in exploring the human place within the landscape through images that show a strong sense of scale.
