Young woman's face in metrotrain kicked me 200 years backwards. She looked just like someone from an old painting. I didn't dare to ask to photograph her, but wanted to do something like that later. I used to photograph "backgrounds", not knowing why. Now I know... Now I have been photographing my family, my reckoning - who am I - who am I with? In the pictures I try to stop the movement, the time, to do "still life portraits" joining models to some special landscapes. Special for me and possibly to the models also. To link them to their past, and possible future.
