The Bengali New Year

On April 14, the New Year of Bangla was celebrated in Rome with the arrival of the new year 1425. The year refers to the typical calendar used in the South Asian countries. The Bengali community of Rome, very hospitable and friendly, gathered in a party wearing their traditional clothes. The women in particular wore their beautiful colored saris that recall the colors of the rainbow.
