The Caravan passed - Behind the scenes of Tour de Romandie 2018

The Tour de Romandie is a stage race for cyclists, founded in 1947. The internationally renowned World Tour competition is held in the French part of Switzerland. 20 professional cycling teams participate in this six days race with 160 cyclists and 360 attendants, many journalists and 100 technicians. The advertising caravan is a full-fledged component of the Tour's show. The prologue and the start of the first stage were held in my hometown a few days ago, on april 26th and 27 2018. For two days the small city of Fribourg was dominated by this widely broadcasted event. I've discovered it with a curious eye - many interesting situations presented themselves to my camera. The entire portfolio has been created with a smart phone camera directly in square format - my preferred image format.
