All photos belong to the series, which is called "Anwesenheitsnotizen". It' like the opposite from a absence notebook, it means, someone/a person has definitely been there, made a track and influenced the place crucial. The photo is the proof of its existence. It's not about a specific city. In the modern world, everything has to be made with standardized dimensions, but that doesn't work with the people. The human being does not fit into a static system of standards, that generates friction and sometimes trouble. I found all these situations, none is staged. With these phots I'm searching for the silent, thoughtful and sometimes funny side of social and cultural coexistence. I want to create different photos, that do not follow the contemporary trend of street-photography. It's not about a quick joke, I want to look deeper under the surface.
