Archaic Creatures

50x70 cm argentotypes on aquarell paper With this work I intended to create a fantasy world which involves the viewer. In general, a photograph or an X-ray image of something makes us believe that its subject is, or was in existence. I started to make these real pictures encounter the world I created. I love to create fictional realities, and it’s more exciting if it is in parallel with the analogy of creation. I was using an archaic technique: argentotype, and X-ray negatives for making my creatures. The excellent descriptions written by a biologist helped me fill them with life.
