Encountered by Destiny

Encountered by Destiny is a photo project I made during my art residency in Europe. I travelled around European Union Countries including Austria, France, Belgium and Germany and meeting strangers that are from all over the world and stayed in one countries for long time. Under the influence of globalization, Europe seems like one countries with different culture and languages, people that are traveling around Europe to seek their ideal life, dreams and love. I encountered with these people who I did not know before and take their portraits with the stories they told me. Through this work, I want to present a new Europe with a globalized perspective and understand each individual stories about being European citizen.
