The project entitled "Backyard" refers to a decidedly circumscribed, closed and tightly structured private space. Within these limits/borders, the lens study and discuss events of human privacy and everyday’s life. The objective of this photographic project is the preservation of the memory of events as a result of individual and personal experience of the protagonists. The –almost- calendar versions of "photographic moments" studied, are not one-dimensional. For this reason they contain traces and elements from street photography and the commemorative photo. The whole project refers to human beings. Projected are those moments that make people feel happy and cheerful, carefree, dative and open to the joys of life, while in parallel subtle and sensitive moments of impatience and passion, completeness and deficit emerge alongside. Ultimately this is a photographic meditation on human suffering of everyday’s life.
