"He looked with his eyes
what was the feet “
Quer
It means Stone.
(with old catalan)
It is not clear
where the name is come
It's etymological origin
is believed pre-Indo-European or Celtic.
According to the pre-Latin root Quer
means both «place to live» and «rock or stone».
Photographic project emerges
from to locate the place name of “Quer”
in various places of the Catalan
and French territory.
Once I have chosen the site.
I organize a tour on foot, with a clear objective.
Explore the place to look for stones. The only record
of the remaining experience is photographic.
A type of record thought like
evidence that something
had happened.
Pick up some randomly
selected stones and then perform
different interventions to transform them.
To break, scratch, tear, polish, grind, drill,
chop, wipe, sharpen, are some of the actions we
do with the stones. We photograph modification,
proposing certain sets of compositions collected in
the interior of the studio.
