California's Homeless

A series of Homeless Portraits done in a documentary style over a 4 month period in 2013. On weekend mornings, I would visit them in my hometown of Modesto, CA and bring them food and clothing. This collection of photographs are those whom I bonded with and tried to understand what happened to them and why. Three of these portraits have hung in galleries in New York City and Durango, Colorado, and 2 of them were nominated for Spider Awards.
