I'm a photographer based in the old textile area of Yorkshire in the UK. I divide my time between small scale commercial work (of any kind), a bit of teaching, and my own personal photographic interests. It used to be an equal split time wise, but now I spend more time on my own photography.
I'm knocking on 60 years old now, and I've been taking photographs for the last 40 years or so. In all honesty that seems to be something I'm compelled to do. What I've done mainly is documentary (of sorts), and I've more or less directed myself to be particularly interested in the people and environment of the West Yorkshire region of the North of England.
