Ron S Levy

Ron S. Levy is a fine art landscape photographer in Houston, TX who specializes in night photography with light painting. A graduate of Amherst College (BA) and U. of Rochester (PhD), trained in psychology and neuroscience, Ron has studied art on his own to this day, but still brings an "outsider's" perspective.

His body-of-work since 2013, Vibrant Night, explores nature areas in Texas at night and its border zones and is organized in subseries. Befitting his background, it conceptually embodies “cognitive reframing” (ie., seeing things in a different light.)

In 2020, he had his first solo exhibit, Vibrant Night (25 images) at the Jung Center Gallery, Houston.
