My passion towards photography grew during secondary school, when I joined Andrejs Grants’ photo studio in Riga. For approximately 7 years I devoted my life and time to black&white film developing, making prints and studying analogue photography. At the end of 90ies I started to work in journalistic media. In 2006 I joined the F64 Photo Agency as a photographer and in 2016 became the agency’s photo editor. Aside from the professional role in media, I am still faithful and keep my passion for film photography alive.
