About Tony Corocher

I am a freelance documentary & fine art photographer based in Italy. I have spent the last 20 years switching between graphic design and photography while working in different locations around the world.
In the last 2 years my work received a number of international awards (PX3, IPA, Allard Prize, LensCulture and HIPA finalist among others) and was exhibited in various locations (Palazzo Cusani, Milan - Biennale dell'Arte, Venice - Espace Beaurepaire, Paris - GHISLA Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Locarno - Arles Photo Festival -
I am particularly interested in the development of personal projects that give a real, current and, I hope, true vision of what is happening around the world.

Educated in the classics and trained in the sciences, I moved to London at 19. After attending Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, I moved to Westminster University where I obtained a Foundation Studies Diploma in Design and Fine Art. After that, I was accepted at Kingston University and completed my BA Hons degree in Graphic Design.
My 18 years experience stretches into a wide range of Design/Art areas: from Graphic Design to Web Design, from classic Photography to Photojournalism, from Mobile Applications to Software Design, from analyzing the User Experience to evaluating Usability/Accessibility, from consulting to brand restyling.
