Yulia Krivich is a visual artist, works with photography. She was born in Dnipro, Ukraine, based in Warsaw, Poland. Graduated from the Department of Architecture of the State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture in her home city, as well as from the Faculty of Media Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her first book Presentiment was published in 2015 as a part of Krakow Photomonth. She was a resident of Scholarship Program of the Minister of Culture and Heritage of Poland in 2016. Participated in many solo and group exhibition. Her recent Daring&Youth solo exhibition was opened in Contemporary Museum in Wroclaw, Poland in 2017. Nominated for Pinchuk Art Prize 2017 in Kiev, Ukraine.
In her works, she explores issues related to identity, combining personal with political concepts.
