Cassio Vasconcellos (São Paulo, SP, 1965) - Photographer since 1981. His work has been exhibited more than 200 times in 20 countries, plus he is part of the select group of "The World Atlas of Street Photography”, a book published by Thames & Hudson, England and Yale University Press, U.S.A., 2014, which brings the series "Nocturnes São Paulo".
He starts his career working personal projects and making exhibitions. Lately, the artist presents "Collectives", Today Art Museum (TAM), Pequim, China (2013); "Itinerant Languages of Photography", Princeton University Art Museum, Princeton, NJ, U.S.A. (2013)
Vasconcellos has published 6 books, including Aeroporto and Noturnos São Paulo. His pictures are in the main important collections of Brazil, as MASP (São Paulo, Brasil), and outside the country, at Bibliothèque Nationale (Paris, France) and Museum of Fine Arts (Houston, U.S.A.).
