Born in Iran, Chervine grew up in Paris before moving to New York in 2008.
He is self-taught in photography, he started out by doing work for the press and for fashion brands, and then he shifted his focus to personal work, since 2015. Since then he has pursued revealing moments of intimacy and moments of transition captured in various cities.
Chervine has recently had solo shows at Galerie Basia Embiricos (Paris, Nov 2017-Jan 2018) and Galerie Anne et Just Jaeckin (Paris, 2016), and was published in the Musée de l’Elysée ELSE Magazine #13 in June 2017.
His work was presented at the festival La Nuit de la Photo in Switzerland in February 2018 (https://www.nuitdelaphoto.ch/) and will be shown at the NoFoto festival in Geneva in 2018.
