Born in 1977 in York, UK, is a professional photographer based in Bangkok, Thailand, since 2004. Since graduating with a BA(HONS) in Photography from the University of Gloucestershire, UK, he moved to Asia as a professional photographer and began shooting assignments for some of the worlds most globally respected publications and NGO’s as well as undertaking personal projects. Using Bangkok as his base he regularly travels the continent as well as further a field in Africa and South America, shooting documentary, travel and portrait photography.
His previous clients have included The Sunday Times Magazine (UK), National Geographic Magazine, The Smithsonian Magazine, The Guardian Weekend Magazine, Greenpeace, Al-Jazeera US, Monocle, GEO, The New York Times, USAID, Geographical Magazine (UK) and The Wall Street Journal.
Throughout his career Luke has been placed in several international photography awards including POYi, PhotoPhilanthropy, DAYS Japan, PDN Annual, Px3 and the International Photography Awards.
