René Habermacher is Swiss-born, Paris-based and Greek at heart.
As illustrator turned photographer and filmmaker, he works as a multidisciplinary artist with various international editions of Vogue and Numéro Magazine, Pop and Wallpaper, as well as numerous books.
He is equally at ease in the realm of fashion as collaborating with other artists as Marina Abramović or Dimitris Papaioannou, to name a few.
His work has been exhibited at the Parco Museum Tokyo, the International Festival of Fashion and Photography Hyères, the MOCA LA and the FIT NYC;
he was selected as one of the photographers throughout a century to represent his generation in “Coming Into Fashion: A Century of Photography at Condé Nast”.
