Corinna Kern is a German photojournalist and documentary photographer currently based in South Africa. She completed her Master in Photojournalism at the University of Westminster in London in 2013 and was selected for the Getty Images Reportage Emerging Talent Award in 2014.
Her long-term personal projects focus on alternative and non-conformist lifestyles captured from an insider-perspective. Through her candid photography, Corinna Kern creates bodies of work that give intimate insights into peoples’ lives on the fringes of society.
Her work was published by TIME, CNN, VICE, Magazine du Monde, Die Zeit, Spiegel Online, Esquire, De Standaard, Daily Mail, and others.
