My name is Giulia Magnaguagno, stage name GiuliaMagg (for obvious reasons ;-) ).
I do Portrait and Travel Photography.
I'm graduated in Interpreting Studies in Milan but then, when I realized that my desire was to be a photographer, I moved to Madrid where I lived and studied at the Photographic Accademy named EFTI for 2 years.
After then, I returned to Italy, I worked for a while in the cinematographic field as camera operator and DOP always maintaining my job as a freelance photographer.
From 2009 to 2015 my works has been shown in several art fair and expositions among them:
Fuoribiennale in Venice, Photissima Art Fair, Biennale of Brescia, Affordable Art Fair in Rome; and in 2013 I've been selected for the artistic Residence Program "Se Renta" in Tijuana Mexico.
Artistically, I'm represented by "Spazio Anna Breda" Contemporary Art Gallery in Padua, Italy.
Nowadays I just returened from a long term trip all along Latin and Central America, I trevelled for one year discovering new cultures, traditions and wonderful people.
I'm one of the 2 creators of "Vitamina Project" the independent project that wants to develop a more sustainable way of traveling around Latin and Central America.
