I am Romina, I am from Ecuador. I studied journalism and worked as a photo journalist on a well known national daily journal "Diario Expreso". After 3 years they moved me to Quito, Ecuador's capital to photograph the country's political issues. Then I started working for the National Assembly of Ecuador, where I spent a year as a photo journalist and also ordering and preserving the historical photo archive of the National Assembly.
I have collaborated with the leading newspapers, news agencies and magazines of my country.
During my period as a photojournalist I traveled through Ecuador and I started shooting its reality in a parallel way, working in a journalistic and human time, that's the reason why half of my work is analogous which was done with an 35mm Film Camera, used as an alternative to the one used for my daily work.
