Steve is a fine art photographer and filmmaker with strong story-telling and socio/documentary leanings. A self-described accidental photographer, Steve discovered photography at age 10 as a shy but curious kid with poor eyesight trying to see the world more clearly. His camera allowed him the freedom to talk to strangers.

Steve is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Post graduate work followed in film and video production, documentary production, commercial and corporate communications, advertising, qualitative consumer and ethnographic research.

He has exhibited in group photography shows at the Center for Photography at Woodstock (Woodstock NY), Davis Orton Gallery (Hudson NY), Dorsky Museum of Art (New Paltz NY), Emerge Gallery (Saugerties NY), Griffin Museum of Photography (Winchester / Boston MA), Howland Cultural Center (Beacon NY), Intima Gallery (Saugerties NY), South by SouthEast Gallery (Molena GA), and Wired Gallery (High Falls NY). Additionally, he recently enjoyed a well-received, two month solo exhibit at the Crohn Gallery in the Saugerties Public Library.
