About Theodore Charles

Theodore Charles has a background in photojournalism, archaeology, and anthropology. He received his undergraduate degree at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington and his Masters at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. Theodore most recently spent two years living in Turkey with a Fulbright Grant, while also writing and photographing for Culinary Backstreets. He researches the ties between cultural heritage and food consumption and is attending the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London in pursuit of a PhD in Anthropology.
